Rome and the slippery slope argument against Federal Vision theology

I wrote some thoughts on the way 'Rome' is used in the slippery slope argument against Federal Vision theology. They can be found here.

Great thoughts.

But it goes both ways. While the FV is being accused of being Romish in the sacramental and liturgical sense, Doug Wilson has accused the PCA of being Romish in the unjustly authoriative and magisterial sense.

What fun!

Thanks Chad. That's a good point. I should add that I don't think Wilson is using the term 'Rome' in the fear-mongering or slippery slope sense, but instead to point out a double-standard.
