Bryan,

Bishop Carlson was the bishop of Saginaw not far from my house. He is an amazing bishop and St. Louis is blessed to have him.

I heard him speak at a Detroit Men's Conference and he was by far the highlight (which included a former Chrysler CEO and Ralph Martin.)

If you want to hear what he said--regarding spirtual poverty--here's the link:

TheDen,

Thanks very much for your note and the link. I'm very much looking forward to meeting him. Of course I'll be at his installation.

In the peace of Christ,

- Bryan
